KZ1000 valve to guide clearance? was created by beefsquasher
I am ready to hone my valve guides for the proper stem-to-guide clearance, but I don't know what it should be.

The Kawasaki service manual only states minimum and maximum sizes for the guides and valves, not actual clearance, and only offers an inaccurate "wobble" test for measuring clearance.

Kibblewhite (I am using their valves and guides) recommends .001" to .0015" for intakes and .002" for exhausts.

Any opinions or tips?

size is correct, and when you assemble the head, make sure to lube the valve and guides, that is the last place that gets oil when you start the engine
