KZ 1197 ?

Hey Guys I purchased a drag bike its an older kawasaki, the engine is now an 1197 but i am looking for a good oil filter for it and dont know whatblock to look for? the numbers on it is Z1E-061421, what oil filter will be good for this?

if you have a napa autoparts near buy tell em you want a house brand filter for a 900-1000 73-80,it will be a wix filter with napa part number

the z1 and kz900-100 take the same filter from 73 up to 80 so if have problems finding them which you shouldn't you can go directly to kawi or plummens option which i do myself it's quite a bit cheaper then going o.e and wix builds fine filters. good enough for hydralics or diesel fuel good enough for my kawi's

can you go to NAPA for a J bike?

yep,just give em a year/model

9am53 you live in canada right try your local crappy tire they are selling fram filters for the j motors there as well go to the sled bike section. or just go to the local kawi dealer that way you know you will get the right one. some late model triumphs also use the same filters.

I always run Fram CH6013 but thats just me

Oh ya the Z1E is a 900 but the 900 and 1000 filters are the same
