You say the bike runs smooth but #4 isn't firing. I would hate to see what you call rough running.

its all in learned experience... this is my first bike... never sat on a bike till after i bought this one... kinda like how you learn pretty quickly what your bike feels like before you run outta gas (been there... and i know how to feel it before it happens again).... i'm sure that once this problem gets fixed... i'll KNOW the difference... i mean.. i know it felt sluggish and slow.... and i dropped some ex lax in the tank but it didn't solve my problem... #4 still isn't firing (KIDDING... SERIOUSLY KIDDING)... but by "smooth".... it doesn't feel like it is un balanced and the engine doesn't tick or knock... but... like i said... when i get this fixed.... i'll probably think it was off balanced and loud..... like i said... first bike... low/zero level mechanic experience.... and its a project..... i'm learning..... thanks for the humor.... i'll figure the rest out... i'm pretty comfortable with electronics... i'm a lot better with wires than i am with engines.... i'll get there some day... thanks guys
