[img] What are the normal oil temps for a stock KZ-1000. Im wondering too what head temps are as well. Thanks for any responses.

depends on where you live,id say in neighborhood of 200 is about average

Just posted this over on the beartooth forum too, weird. My KZ900 manual lists the oil pressure specification at a temp of 140 degrees Celsius, which converts to 284 degrees Fahrenheit. Anything under that is probably in the safe zone. I would think you'd want it to be 212 F or above though, so as to vaporize any moisture contained in the oil.
