I've almost completely restored a 1975 Z1. You can see it at sites.google.com/site/jvcycles/Z1-Restoration . It's a custom restoration not a concourse one. For instance the rims, fenders, and misc parts are powder coated black. Rather than pay $1500 for a set of OEM type exhaust, I would rather build or have someone else build a stainless exhaust system with a pair of YOSHIMURA carbon fiber slip-ons similar to what you'd find on a Z1000. It would be a 4 into 2 exhaust.

Does anyone know if something like this is already available? I'm not looking to re-invent the wheel, but I can't find anything even close. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I just saw that also. I'm trying to find something like what you'd find on a new Kawa. Stainless steel headers where you see the welds and then I could pick the slip-ons to use with it. I'm not sure what I'm looking for exists. I might have to break out the welder! Thanks again...
