What size is the clutch hub nut (KZ1100)? I have a 27MM socket, but is too small. I need to buy another, but I prefer to get the size I need. Anybody know what size I need?

You need a 30 mm socket - btw, the nut is the same on KZ 650/750/900/1000/1100 models including Z1, GPz and Police models (even the 2005 P1000).

Not 100% sure about other models, but on the 650 the clutch hub nut also fits the output shaft (countershaft sprocket nut), same size and thread pitch.

77 KZ 650 B1, 82 GPz 1100 B2.

Both the clutch hub and countershaft sprocket nuts are 20mm but the OD is different. The actual standard OD size IS 30mm and not 27mm. I buy countershaft sprocket nuts from my metric hardware supplier and get 30mm OD. The main problem with the countershaft nut is that it must be thin... less than 10mm MOST 20mm nuts are far thicker and would stick out too far. If memory serves both the countershaft and clutch hub nuts are 1.5 pitch but I would measure the pitch to make sure...
