What head's will fit ?????

Can someone tell what year 750 heads and cylinders will fit a 1977 b1 650 engine, without going into major mods.

Sorry no 750 head will fit with out the 750 crank and cam chain gear. An 82 set of barrels will fit with clearanceing the upper cases. They still have the provisions for the early 650 cam chain gear.

I had read that '80 to '82 KZ750 heads will work.

I bought a head off e-bay which the seller said was from a '80 KZ750E for use on my '77 KZ650.

I do not have it running yet, but I did mock it up, and it appears to have all of the neccessary provisions to run the 650 cam chain.

Can't speak with any authority on the jug.
