First, the good news. It didn't blow up. Unfortunately, the #2 cylinder is still leaking oil (subject of a different earlier post), which the exhaust leak on said cylinder sprayed about nicely. Same problem we had before, which is why we tore into the engine and replaced the valve stem seals. It did sound pretty nice, as far as a triple goes.

The oil stopped leaking as the engine warmed up, which was nice. But still no firing on #2. So, its either:

-Cracked cylinder head.
-Bad O-ring round one of the oil galleys.
-Bad gasket between the top cylinder and the bottom.

One of these things is possibly snuffing out the #2 spark, or it could be that the ignition coil patch didn't take, though it has hit on all 4 cylinders before the rebuild.

Either way, I'm jumping on my 73 cb750 and heading out of town for a few weeks. I'm sure the problem will still be there when I get back.

Thanks for the help, guys. Updates in a few weeks, unless my gf decides to tackle it while I'm gone.
