Help!!! These are the numbers off of my 903. Z1E126470 The frame is a 76. I was told the engine could go either way 1975 or 1976. If any one could help the would be great. Thanks

Hoss...your engine number is within the 1976 KZ900A4 production range. If your frame and engine are original, the frame and engine numbers are usually within 300 of each other. To double check, use www.zedder.com

Hoss, I agree with Michael that the engine number of the KZ900A4 is a 76 (probably manf 6/76 or 7/76). However, the difference in the frame to engine numbers was about 14,000 - 20,000 odd.
Some examples:
Manf 3/76, Frame Z1F-106261, Eng Z1E-120691.
Manf 5/76, Frame Z1F-108047, Eng Z1F-123931.
Manf 8/76, Frame Z1F-116967, Eng Z1E-137289.

Just to make things difficult, remember that some frames where made in Nabraska in late 75. (97,000 series).

I think your right the frame number is ZF1-109644 that means it's 1976 true???? I hear there are not many 900's around here I live. I think that's COOL
