Can anyone tell me how to check if fuel is getting into cylinder without taking carbs off. I am getting a spark at the plug but haven't checked the compression yet. The bike stood for 18 months and it restarted on 2 cylinders. Eventually #1 came in but #4 is not there yet.

You could pull the plug to see if it's wet w fuel.

As for the cylinder not firing, a simple thing to try is to disconnect then reconnect the plug wire at all points from the coil to the plug. The connections become poor from oxidation over time. If the wire appears to be heavily oxidized, you could trim off the wire a tad - not too sort though so that they won't reach.

does the choke have any affect. or does it go away at like half throttle. your pilot circuit might be pluged up.

choke has no affect and it doesn't clear at half throttle.
