82 KZ750 Ltd
Kerker End Cap was created by natieb
Hi everyone,
I recently picked up an 82 KZ750 LTD which needed a little bit of work. After cleaning some carbs and the like, I managed to get it running. Not perfectly, but it's still a work in progress.
Anyhow, it has a Kerker 4-into-1 header/megaphone exhaust. The previous owner said it was "too loud", so he put this end cap on it, but now I would like to take it off to see how it sounds. It's quieter than my old 86 454, and I can't be having that. The cap seems like it's just jammed in there, so if anyone has any good ideas how to go about removing it, I would appreciate it.

Sorry for the poor quality, I took the picture with my phone.

Seems like the banging idea is the most cost effective, I like the banging idea. May have to soak the broom handle in water for a while to make the bend without splintering

As I totally agree with Roy for I had to do the same to get the stock baffle out for the comp baffle....
There is another method that seems to work...
Send it to Kaw-SUki-Man (Stevie).... He's known to shoot his baffles out across the interstate..... Just make sure you don't want it back for he's still looking for his....
