KZ650 - rattle between 4100-4200 rpm's

seem to have a rattle between about 4100 and 4200 rpm's. Outside of this small range its fine. I hear it in every gear (including N just revving), and on both accel and decel. The noise seems to be distinctively from the front right of engine, but we all know sounds can be misleading.

Its an '81 with just over 6k on it.

One idea I had was maybe motor mount. I haven't had a chance to check it. Anybody else had this or an idea of what it may be?

Thanks :)

I have something similar, here is my thread about it. I am doing a valve adjustment and some other work this winter to hopefully alleviate the problem

that led me to the rattle. it is the forward screw on the exhaust cover around the H-pipe. took it off, rode a bit, i had the vibration that everybody speaks of, but the rattle is gone!

now I cannot get that screw back in LOL

Thanks guys! :)
