roy next time you get a sidewinder that your going to sell for a hundred give me a call, the 130001-p sportsman sidewinder sells for around 215.00 dollars at any bike shop that has parts unlimited for a supplier and you can put a baffle in it the one out of my star street sidewinder bolts right in for example the one you you have to be aware of with a sidewinder is right hand turns and if your bike is lowered it can interfere with your front wheel and forks under heavy braking unless the front end is raked.

They used to be a very good company. Not anymore...

We quit selling there product after a massive number of issues with them. At the root of the problem is they no longer care. Vance is still there, but he no longer is the owner. MAG is the owner (Motorcycle Accessory Group). MAG is owned by a bunch of venture capital people.

Our last and final shipment of 10 pipes came in with 7 of them either damaged, missing emblems or mis-manufactured. Worse, we have to prepay for these and the replacements took over 3 months before we finally saw resolution on the last of the 10 pipes.

If this was the first time something like this happened, you might blow it off as one of those things. Sadly, it was just par for the course. We used to average 50% attrition on pipes from V&H.

The quality of the pipes dropped off in the last few years.

On top of all of this, we were forced to sign an agreement stating we would not advertise discounted prices. Dennis Kirk discounts all the time - but Dennis Kirk is fed by Parts Unlimited (Lemans) - and they are V&H's #1 customer. So it's one rule for their top customer, and everyone else gets another set of rules. Unethical - but they don't care.

We had massive delay issues getting V&H pipes. In one instance we waited 11 months to get some pipes. I found out the pipes were being made, but all of them were going to Parts Unlimited - even when our order was placed first.
