Doing Rings

Hiya All, I'm about to dive into doing new ringsets on my 82 KZ1000J.
Just wondering what else I should be getting thats a common wear item while I'm in there.
I've had 650's, 750 twins etc but this is my first 1000.
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Put new valve seals in while your at it. Maybe a valve seat job. Make sure your cylinder bores are not worn to the point you need an overbore and new pistons. Clean some of the carbon out of the combustion chamber.
