Let me take a wild guess here for a moment.....

You didn't take the head off down to the cylinder, didn't lube her up for a couple of days and tried turning anyways....

Well, we have another one boys... Welcome to the club JCFrancis .... Just had to learn the hard way didn't ya.... Yup, you fit right in with the rest of us....

NOTE: Not making fun at you but with you for I do mean we've all done something we ended up not being proud of... So put on your big girl panties and deal with it... Time to get out the tools.

Well we've all done it, been there, and went "Oh no you f'ing didn't" but yup, we did...

Well it is repairable....

Start a project file and keep us posted with images...

Good luck,

Okay, here is a pic of the bolt and nut which I broke off, does anyone know what the size of bolt this is so I might be able to track down a replacement without going through the stealership?

After some searching on Kawa part listing I came accross the 2 parts I think I need:

92001-1397 BOLT-8X63
92022-244 WASHER,SPARK ADVANCER

From what I gather since the nut is a replaceable part maybe it wasn't welded in place to begin with? I did break the bolt regardless... Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks!

the nut is a seperate piece so don't panic the bolt should come out fairly easy i like to use left hand bits when drilling out broken bolts some times the bit will bite into the bolt and spinit right out by it self if not drill all the way thru the bolt in the center of it with an 1/8" bit and then work your way up to the right size then in stall the easyout and it should come out fairly easy for you goodluck.

Is there such a thing as a long easy out? I don't think a standard one is going to be able to go in far enough to make contact with the bolt that is broken off...
