Ignition was created by rayellis
I have a kz750 and was seeing somethings about a GM HEI ignition module. What is it exactly and would it replace the KZ750's ignition? What else is out there that can replace or upgrade the ignition?
Thank You

As long as your pick up coils are in good shape and your bike has the mechanical ignition advancer, you could do this if the factory system ever died. The Dyna "S" works but is considered a power hog compared to what Kawasaki installed.

The GM HEI thingy would replace your ignitor ...if it was bust and needed replacement. If your current ignition system is working then I would suggest that the best and cheapest (about $10) upgrade would be to do the coil repowering mod.
