Is this a Denco?
13 Aug 2009 23:53
Need some help from the exhaust gurus on here, I just bought a '75 Z1 with a left hand exit 4-1 on it that has no brand stamp or markings that I've found. Sounds good, anybody know if it's a Denco or what brand it might be?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yes, Denco did 4 strokes as well as their killer 2 strokes. That pipe doesn't look like a Denco to me but I've been wrong once before lol.Look for Denco stamped into the back of the megaphone hanger bracket.

I agree with Jack. It looks alot like a Denco but the rear reverse cone looks too long for a Denco. I didn't know about the Denco stamp on the rear of the mount though. I have what I thik is a Denco on a bike in the shed and will have to check it out.

Roadsoul,
That sounds good! I would go with hooker or honda, back half.

I know this is a long shot but do you still have the pipe and would you sell it or trade it for a stainless 4 into 1

I bought mine new in 1979 and they are still on my bike after 35 years... Sorry they are dirty,., I have not had a chance to take them off for cleaning yet this year.
Here is what the standard Denco Hi-Po street pipes with the factory muffler/baffle look like....
I give up.... can't get them to rotate so 'F' it.
