mufflers

i think this is where this goes
im in canada i have an 83 KZ750L3 and would like to replace my mufflers they are shot i have the 4>2 i am being told i would have to chop n cut "modify" what i have to make somthing els work im not into loud noise and we have a DBs law and ideas

So the exhaust header pipes are fine & you only need mufflers?
Maybe look into Dunstall replicas, available at JCWhitney & elsewhere. They usually come in the reverse cone style & megaphone style; I believe they're made by Emgo. They may be on sale at JCW. If your left side muffler has the centerstand recesses, then that may be an area where fitment may be an issue.

Note: I've only seen them in chrome. I'm guessing yours are black.

I have been considering a pair for my bike also.

I sure would like to hear and especially see a pair installed on a KZ650 to get a better idea of what the finished product looks like and what cutting and welding I might have to do.

Have any members done this and do they have pics?
