I run a Vance n Hines and have no problems with fitment or chrome durability. I would like to have a Kerker but am fine with the Vance Hines. I have a MAC but it hangs on the wall in case of an emergency.

Help: can I use a pro competition only pipe or should it be the standard header? V13001 or a V13002 pco

Man it is so hard to figure out stuff. lol

Help

The Comp pipe is not designed for cornering, it is for drag racing. You could use it but I wouldnt on the street because of the clearance. It basically is straight, rather than upswept like the street pipe. Get the standard one.

I am ready to place my order but still not sure what to get.

It will be a kerker but the model # not sure.

# 127-61001 it will allow me to do oil changes. I like that.

If I get the #127-61004 it blocks the oil and have to remover the center stand.

Will there be a performance gain with the #127-61004 as I guess the pipes run in a straighter line.

Going to use a Medium 2.0" Competition baffle in either one

Help!!!

I've used both, and the # 127-61001 Kerker is by far the better street pipe. It makes way more low to mid range torque which makes it the superior street system imo.

the 13001 and pco13002 are strictly for drag racing in order to use them with out fear or bottoming out the front wheel on them you have to rake the frame or have raked trees also they have little or no ground clearance in right hand turns also the primary tubes are quite large for a stock or mildly ported head

That is what I'm looking for is street. I really don't want to take the pipes off to change oil. But for performance I would. Glads to hear the kerker #127-61001 is a better model for street.

Now it seems these 2 models fit different bikes !

Can someone tell me if the # 127-61001 would fit a 1983 Kawasaki kz1100 D2

I just got my kerker system today and I got the street baffle out no problem.

Is there a big difference between the 1.5 comp baffle and the 2" baffle? performance vs noise?

Not sure what to buy.

I'm going to install over the winter.

Thanks

I got my Header a few weeks ago. So I am selling my MAC header I bought in the spring. It is in good shape small dent on the top of the #1 that the freeze fix would fix.

I also have the stock exhaust for sale. In great shape no dents, little surface rust very little. New gaskets at all the joints. Very good shape very very 9/10.

They both could use a little paint

Send pm if interested.
