We have a 1976 kz900 I was just wondering if anybody nows what the correct temperature would be using a heat gun where the exhaust hooks into the motor

.

Keep in mind that something as simple as the initial advance that you have dialed into the ignition will make a big different.

So unless someone is running the same combo with the same tune, it’s not going to be an “apples-to-apples” comparison.
