Its off a 96 ninja zx6. Im thinkin it should sound pretty good, and i can always do some fab work to fit her on there.

Do you guys think this might work or should i look for something else???

Also how could i compair the backpressure from a zx6 to a kz550, Would it just be compression ratios/

Any help would be appriated.

Back pressure is basically the result of the differnce between the flow of gasses out of the head and the ability of the exhaust system to handle that flow. The ZX6, having a slighty larger displacement and having a much higher redline, is likely capable of flowing quite a bit more through the engine than a stock KZ550. D&D cans are pretty free-flowing, so whatever restriction there is in the exhaust system will be from the pipes, not the can in this case. You may need to revisit your jetting, but I'd say use it and enjoy the sweet, but loud, music.

That can is designed to handle 100+ hp so it will easily handle your 50+ hp. ;)

I used most of the exhaust off of a zx6 on my 78. Sounded good and didn't effect the performance that I could tell.

Looks crap & ugly to me but each to their own. Looks like a chromed auto exhaust but at laest they have the decency to hide them under the vehicle. Check out the Guzzi V11 Sport, they look crap and out of place too! Fit a decent Dunstall reverse cone or even a Triumph.
