Valve clearance, who knows? was created by Buachaillin
I am rebuilding my 82 Kz 750 spectre, and I am doing some work on the valves right now, and I was wondering if anyone out there knew, or had a book and could look it up for me, as to what the valve clearance is supposed to be.

this would be a huge help. I have a repair manual coming soonish, but I dont know i that will tell me or not, and the sooner I know the better. Thank you for your help.

I think the spectres are 4 cyl, there should be a manuel on the site that will tell you the clearance.

also,, maybe a mod will move this to the engine section,

The twins manual spec is .05mm - 0.1mm which is .002" to .004", but I run mine at .003" - .005". The fours are likely in that same ballpark or just a shade wider. Some of them allow a max of 0.15mm (.006") on the exhaust side if my memory serves me.
