For those who are wondering about the 750 head on the 650 motors.

This week I'm doing a 750 head for a 650 drag bike. Stock vs stock, the 750 head is worth 10CFM over the 650.

From a flow perspective, that's even more of an increase than the 83GPz is over a stock J [74 vs 82]

Peak flow is the same as a KZ900 / 1000 head [68@10"]but with a 2mm smaller intake valve [34 vs 36].

So there you have it.... :)

Larry is the head you are working on off a GPZ750 or an E model or LTD?

Let me jump in here as it's my head (Hi Larry).

I bought the head off of e-bay.

The seller said it was off of an '80 KZ750E.

It had all of the proper bosses, holes, and slots (cam chain wise) to use on my '77 KZ650 engine.

Is the flow numbers for the 83 gpz750 head? If so, which is the 650 number and which is the gpz?

1978 KZ650 D1 ~ Carb jetting: 107.5 & 20 & 4th groove with pods and 4-1 Exhaust
