Im curious, will a newer metric muffler made for like a gsxr 600, or cbr 600, or r6, or zx6r, or something similar have close egnough backpressure for an 82 kz550?

I know jetting might be neccisary, i got the stock air box set up and 4-1 header, but i want to attach a newer tailpipe to the header cause my old baffle is pretty much shot.

What worked for you 550 riders?

If interested, new replacement baffles are available for Kerker and Vance & Hines, and probably other 4>1 exhaust system mufflers.
