78' KZ 650B Valve Adjustment was created by Samo604
Yo Dudes,
I'm hoping for some advice on this.... I need to adjust the valves. I have the camshaft out, and have been following the Clymer manual.
The bike was running rough, three of the plugs were white, one was black (it's also a 4 into 1). After measuring, half the valves needed adjustment because there wasn't enough clearance.
So now I was going to buy the shims, in the two next smallest increments. I'm buying two different just to be safe I guess.
So how does all that sound? The only other time I did this was on a 73' CB and it was a lot easier.
I'd really appreciate any advice or things to look out for.
Thanks
