i am doing a fork up grade to gixxer. this will drop the front end a bit (more like alot) can some of you guys give me some info on some header pipes that will let me get the best clearance. i don't have much to deal with. only a couple of inches.

so i need a pipe that will fit up tight against the under side of the engine. i lean my pipe over alot (cornering) so i need some clearnce.

need some help!!!!

I got a ZX-750R front, GSXR swing and 17" rims in my ELR and had exactly the same problem. I just didn´t find any aftermarket headers so I had to have one made for me. Almost all 4-1 -headers for bigger Z´s stack the headers 2+2 under the engine and what ya need is 4-in-line -collector tightly under your engine.

It can be much cheaper that you´d think. I paid 240€ = 270$ for 4-2-1 Stailess Steel headers. I had a Kerker muffler to add on.

I believe the gixxer swap will lower your bike around two inches. I have lowered mine two inches and don't have a clearence problem. Just watch out when you corner. Mine is so low the exhaust scrapes and the kick stand scrapes. After the first ride I needed new underpants!
