I was using 10W30 But at that time the carbs were leaking fuel into the engine...sooo the oil was not good at all...petcock was broke...since then...(thurs night) i changed the oil, filter, and I added a extra shut off, and rebuilt fuel petcock. Buy I just put new plugs in her, but she hasn't ran at all..because the carbs are off for rejetting and the exhaust is off for cutting, and finishing, and to have the baffles installed.

Because I love my bike...And I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing by changing out jets, and so forth...Or it would have all been a waste of money.

what brand of oil are you running? Is it synth, or petro based? Your plugs look great

Normally, I would blow by this thread but something just needs to be cleared up.

The oil you run has nothing of any significance to the condition of your spark plugs.

A change from 120 to 140 main jet is a HUGE change.

If you've gone that far up in jet, you are probably at least 3 - 5 sized too rich.
