Are they new plugs? Old plugs could be a couple of things.

I can only suggest, that you hold the plug wire while cranking the motor for 1 minute. This is the best spark test, known to man, at this time........................Good Luck! and keep us posted.

Well, it is a test? If it doesn't make you say bad words, then replace everything.

Top end rebuild. What weight oil do you use? You may want to try something heaver.

Would recommend installing four brand new spark plugs.

Am thinking they are NGKB8ES, but should double-check the factory service manual to be certain.

As for the oil burning diagnosis, would ride it and not worry about it unless exhausting huge clouds of blue smoke.

Just keep an eye on the crankcase oil level.

And read the plugs again after 10~20 miles of highway cruising.

Perhaps the oil residue on the spark plugs results largely from old hard worn valve seals, which is a common non-dangerous condition on these bikes. It's usually worse at initial crank-up of a cold engine after the oil has had a chance to run down into the cylinders, and then burns off fairly quickly after starting the engine.

Actually, the latest most modern spark test is getting someone else to hold the plug caps. Such as perhaps an obnoxious neighbor kid. Or better yet, a bunch of them, holding hands.

Good Luck! :)
