Stalling after 20 mins

Need some help. My 1982 KZ750 CSR twin is running pretty well right now. Idle is great on startup an it is pulling through all the gears great.
Problem is that after 20 mins or so out on the back roads, when downshifted into first and coming to stop (stoplight) it will stall. It will start right back up with a quick hit of the electric start, but it is annoying and dangerous.

Any thoughts?

Try cracking open your tank filler and riding into the sunset.

Sorry Guy! I meant that these are classic symptoms of a blocked tank vent. I was only implying that you will then be able to ride into the sunset. I didn't actually mean to suggest that you do so, for two reasons; First, We'd miss you and Second, Cali is already out of money they'd likely stage a protest about the oil slick and neglect to pluck you out.

Awesome. I will give it a try tonight! The tank vent, that is.... It's a long drive to sunset from Cincinnati. I think my wife would start to worry after a while!
