In one of my half baked schemes I'd like to place a Gpz top end on a ZR bottom. Since the channel seal areas are different blocking and bypassing may work.
Haven't checked it all out and still just a thought.
What I have noticed interesting is the big bore plumbing for an oil cooler go behind the cylinder to the case. Not having a schematic for these makes it difficult to understand the flow.
Matching the existing orifice would be the paramount part engineering a 750 case to head bypass.

I tried to search this one with no luck, but has anyone developed a kit for bypassing the oil channel that goes to the head and routing it through a line? I've seen it on some engines and was wondering what all was involved in doing it. Not that I don't like the oil channel, but it seems like lines would be more consistent, less likely to leak, and add a little more oil cooling to the engine than the channel does.
Thanks,
KC
Might find this thread of interest.

Thanks for finding that one Patton. A good read.
I'll second that. I thought I had seen something about it before but couldn't find the thread. I really wanted to see what it would take to get it done right.
