I would concur with roy, in that both manufacture dates, 11/76 and 3/77, are consistent with being 1977 year models.

Is there an obvious difference between the frames?

Thanks guys. The two bikes have different rear calipers, different mounting points for exhaust and rear pegs, one has dual front calipers, other only has one. Is there really all these differences between the LTD's and regular KZ's. I have a lot to learn about these bikes I guess. I have big plans for these 2 and want to learn as much as possible. I appreciate the patience in dealing with my newbieness.

Ps is the Zedder.com software worth the $25

I think i have Zedder parts cd for a 80 G model. It came in handy getting in the swing of the diffrent parts.

There is a parts reference on this site i believe. haven't used it myself. Roy
