camshaft specs 1982 1000/1100

I purchased a set of cams for a 1982 GPZ1100 and they arrived today. I thought I would post the lift specs of my stock 1982 LTD 1000 and also the 1982 GPZ1100.

I looked for a filebase collection of cam specs, but didn't find one.

If it exists, please direct me to it. Otherwise, maybe everyone could measure their cams and we could compile a list.

(I recently purchased a caliper for measuring and I may be slightly off)

Anyway, here you go:
1982 GPZ1100 Lift = 0.345"
1982 LTD1000 Lift = 0.315"

I also noticed a set of 1984 GPZ1100 cams for sale on ebay that were listed as 0.375" lift, but I haven't measured for myself.

Based on the Andrews cam specs listed here:
www.andrewsproducts.com/PDF_files/KZ900-1.pdf , I guess that the 82 GPZ cam is about the same as 1X. While the 1983 GPZ cam is about the same as 2X.

i just got a set of gpz cams from an old funny bike they are stock gpz 1000 83 or 84 and they are .375 lift.

Any idea what kind of times the funny bike was able to turn with those cams? Was it normally aspirated?

my buddy just came across an 82 gpz head and cams..those will be getting dropped into my 82 1000 soon..

it was a turbo alcohol bike it ran low sevens and some high sixes but the cams are going into a 1135 street motor i just got.
