Just bought a turbo - lmao was created by austin3119
So, I was cruising through ebay and said what the heck. It looks like I just bought part of a Mr. Turbo kit for my kz900.

So my next questions are, what else do I need for this thing? Lets not get into the lower compression pistons, turbo cams, frame bracing, longer swingarm etc. I'm just looking for what else I need for the basic kit.

It looks like I need a new banana pipe, exhaust header, and boost gauge. What else is there lol. I know squat about turbos.

While I got your attention. I have a set of these cams lying around. Any good for a turbo bike? I will probably end up doing a 1075 kit.

A good rev limiter!! Miss a shift and goodbye engine. Also a waste gate that's adjustable to be able to dump excess pressure.

stock cams and pistons are fine, turbos are force feeders so you want small short duration cams .keep the boost down low and youll be fine with basically stock motor, ditch that carb and find a good mikuni though.the header can be found on dragbike.com when they pop up once in a while B)

Thanks Dave. It's going to be a while. I'm sure the turbo won't be here for a week or two. Then I will have to break it down and make it real pretty, get the exhaust headers and according to Plummens momma score a Mikuni HSR 42 for the carb. I also got some motor work to do.... So look for my call about 2011. :)
