WANTED: Stock Exhaust 76 KZ900B LTD

Hello, I'm looking for a decent condition stock 4 into 2 exhaust for a 1976 KZ900B LTD.

If you have one, please let me know. It's one of the last pieces I need for a restoration. The bike I'm restoring has under 8,000 original miles. Someone back in the 80's convinced the owner to change to a 4 into 1 system. I just want it back to original.

Everybody made the mistake of dumping the original exhausts way back when. That's why stock ones in decent shape are worth their weight in gold. I wish I still had mine.

the jardine/ltd pipes were used clear up to atleast 1980 on the 1000 ltds

Not exactly cheap but no more than a cheap header and they look pretty nice in the pic.

Did any of the stock exhaust have the balance tube that connected the two sides together.

I have a set to install on my bike after i get them cleaned.

The only one of the earlier LTD style big bikes (KZ900B, KZ1000B1/4, KZ1000G1) that shows a crosstube is the G model.

Glad I could help a member from here. I half thought about picking them up since they are close just to have them but since I don't currently have a bike nice enough to put them on I decided to pass. Based on what the seller says in the ad they should be pretty nice, since he removed them in 78 and the pic looks good as well. With my luck I'll stumble across a bike 2 weeks from now that would warrant spending the money for them but it sounds like your bike fits that bill. Good luck.
