KZ1000 Valve clearances was created by Pro_window78
I have a 78 kz1000 and I just measured my valve clearances. My number 2 cylinder on the exhaust side has under .05 and my intake side is tight on the .05mm feeler gauge. The rest are all between .05 and .08. My question is, what size shims do I need? How do I tell what size is in there? Thanks

Normal protocol, the under side of the shim has the shim number size stamped on them.... If in doubt, use a caliper and measure the shims thickness....

You want between .05 to .1mm....
