Ehh... Oil leak and on the spark plug

So, as some of you may know I just got a 80 KZ750H not too long ago and had some problems.

I didn't get too much done cause I have my school.

I got some free time and had a closer look and found some oil (kinda fresh) on the left side of the carb (right side is clean).





I took the spark plug out and all of them are black.







I don't know if this 2 incidents are related to each other at all so I figure I might just throw it out here for some opinions!

Hey vince, are you sure the stuff on the side of the carb is oil? It kind of looks like residue from the left side carb leaking.....i could be wrong though. As far as the plugs go, is there any oil on them? Or are they just loaded with carbon?
