KZ900 and APE 410 cam sprocket question.

I'm pretty sure this is a stupid question, but a search didn't reveal any answers.

I'm building a mild KZ engine with APE 410 cams and when I tried to fit the sprockets onto the cams, the sprocket's center hole was too small to fit over the second lobe of the cam. I see that APE sells adjustable sprockets, but it's not said whether or not the 410 *requires* them.

Thanks for the help.

It is common practice to notch the center hole, to fit the lobe. The APE sprockets have this feature incorporated.
