I got the bike fired up today after some changes this winter J cams, rebuilt and jetted carbs, and new head gaskets.
At first it ran like poo and I spent an hour trying to figure out what was the problem. Turns out that I'm tarded :blush:
as the 1st and 2nd plug wires were switched. As soon as I straitned that out it fired up and ran like raped ape. Rolling down the rosd in first gear and nail the throttle and the front wheel is in the air. This might not be a big deal but it never did that last year and it is cool. :woohoo:

1974 Z1 with a MKII And a 1105 big bore kit 10.5 to 1 comp. Andrews 2x cams ported head dyna s with green coils V&H sidewinder pipe airshifter 4in.over arm

just wondering thomas..do you have an after market exhaust on that bike? and if so what half collars did you use for the head pipe..have same bike and my stock collars are too short to snug the pipe to the block..
