Oil Cooler Hoses was created by grumpy56

Morning. The lines on my oil cooler ('82 J) rub against the lower (sharp) seam of the gas tank. I taped a piece of rubber to the hose for protection, but don't like it. Both sides rub, but the right side is worse. Anyone have a routing idea? Thank you!

I've seen pictures where the cooler hoses are routed along the right side of the engine and connect to the cooler.

Mine are routed over the top of the valve cover and down. The Z1 tank does not have the sharp edges that the KZ has so that might not be an option for you.
