I have a 1985 Kawasaki 900 eliminator. I got it running after sitting in storage for eight years and upon putting it in gear for the first time it killed the motor with the clutch pulled in. I know the hydraulic release is working right. I pulled the clutch out and the discs seemed to be a little stuck but in remarkably good shape. I cleaned them up, dipped them in oil and put it back together and it still stalled the bike. What's weird is it will disengage fine with the motor off and in gear with the clutch pulled in but when it is running it will stall it everytime. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks alot
Does the bike lurch forward and die, or just die without lurching forward?
Good Luck!
