ok is that a kz1000?
if so any kz1000 kz900 gpz1100 up to 83 i think will all fit,
wrap under or round,
4-1 4-2 ?
i found a header i liked first mounted the can where i wanted and joined it with 3 sections with 5 - 10 degree bends sounds simple i know but that's basically it i kept swaping the slight bends till i was tight as possible.

i beleave its referred to as the collector.
mild steel in most cases id say
stainless will cost you so don't go there.
think of this as a mock up experiment nothing is permanent that way anything go's.

it's to bad I dont have a pipe bender...Or I would just order the mild steel from Jegs....my headers are fine...so Im curious if it would be cheaper just to start hacking at it...and build my own...

Here is what I used to have on my bike. Kerker 4 into 1 pipe with a Yoshumura muffler from unknown bike. All I did was take it the muffler shop and they bent and welded a pipe to the muffler then expanded the end so it would slip onto my header. The guy did it for $30 under the table. Everythng on the bike is different now but when I had that setup on the bike it sounded great.

exhuast is hard cuase it can really set the lines of the bike....and you usually gotta do some matching cuase part of the less expensive used e- bay ones are sometimes dented or missing.....or you can just bite the bullet and wait and put bids on some cleaner pipes and you might get lucky and win one....i like the yosh canister and the kawasaki canister ones or the supertrapp if you can find one....the cans give the crotch rocket "look" i think...good luckkawtoy wrote:

Well I was thinking that exactly....Maybe getting a two in one collector for 12 - 34, and just piping to cans on there...Problem is that cans are expensive...unless there are some cheap ons that i can get two for like 200 250$....
