hello steell and anyone else ive been away but ive brought what u ask of and behind the headlight it has on there 7/78 kz7508 040770 and by the oil cap it has kz750be 049227 hopefully that answers some things and i want that on your 79 kz steel thanks again

Interesting, your bike has the exact same year and month of manufacture as the 79 KZ750B in the top photo

So I can say without a doubt that you have a 1979 KZ750B. A KZ750B4 to be concise

I no longer have the 79 KZ750, I now ride the 80 750G in my avatar (and also pictured above) and have a project 750 twin based on a 77 frame, along with a whole bunch of spare parts. I also have a 78 frame that I will probably use to assemble a complete bike out of some of my spare parts.
