Timing Question? was created by Oldwolf
While playing with a New Meter checking my Idle and Timing I found that the Right Side Dyna S module is firing 1-4 plugs and the Left side is firing 2-3. I believe this is opposite of what should occur. 1105CC Kit was put in about 10 years ago. Whats the answer? How to Correct? Thanks.

You can take off the dyna button on the crank and turn it 180 degrees. roy

As Roy said, you can pull the rotor off the advancer, and re-install it 180 degrees flipped.

Then you have to correct the wiring. That's the wires to the coils, and/or the plug wires.

Normally the left coil has a black wire and the right coil has a green wire. The left coil fires 1,4 and the right coil fires 2,3.

I'm not sure if the Dyna uses the same colors for the coil wires, though.

Follow the link, should help out... Tutorial on Dyna S Installation....

It doesn't truly matter which side the 1/4 coil resides in physically, what does matter is which pick up conductor is terminated to it for 1/4 operations...

NOTE: Normally/OEM is as sitting on bike, 1/4 is on the left side under the tank.

In review of the image from the Dyna S pick ignition up plate, the WHITE conductor with the little black heat shrink is for the 1/4 coil...
