I have a B4 (no you can't have my seat, I just got it recovered)..... everytime I have seen aftermarket headers listed, they just say "750 twin" which leads me to believe that pipes that fit any 750T could be made to fit any of the 750 twin models if you can rig up someway to hang them.

I know the carbs are not all the same on the various 750 twins, as I bought some vacuum pistons off an '81 that was different than the ones on my '79. They may all be "BS 38" types, but the jets and pistons may not be identical.

cheers bounty ,yep i knew about the different carbs i think the later t ,s went to a 34mm mik ? how did you do with your carb r/h pop prob ,i had a very same prob ,found it was the butterfly synch , tried needle adj etc and at last minute a mech said i reckon that r/h butterfly was just a tad lazy it only took a smidgin of a turn to make it idle and run so much better
cheers graeme B)

All of my recent carb (and lean running) problems stemmed from the fact the rubbers attached to the vacuum pistons had VERY TINY slits that leaked air and I could not see them... until I really looked. That made it run lean at light throttle openings and I was trying to compensate with pilot jets and needle position... which worked pretty well. I installed new pistons with good rubbers and went back to stock needle position and it runs pretty well now.
