IM BUILDING AN 810 BIG BORE FROM A 650 AND I NEED SOME ANSWERS.
jetting question.... was created by eddieteeth
i have taken my 650 lower case and mated it with a 750 upper case. i have also installed
82 gpz cams by swaping the gears. as well as welding shut the emission ports. and i am going run pods and a 4 into 1. i was thinking of running 115 main jets on my 26mms. is this some what close also what should the idle jet be.

did you check the clearances on the crankshaft before you started to put the cases to gether for the final time because the plain bearing motors are line bored from the factory meaning they have matched engine cases you cant just go bolting different case halfs together from different engines unless you are talking about using a 650 bottom end and a 750 topend then i misunderstood what you have done. as far as carb jetting goes try using the stock pilot jets for now and i would probably drop the size of the mains down to 110's.
