Does anybody have.....

....an old 4-1 header lying around they'd like to part with? I wanna make a custom exhaust for the new project, and I need a 4-1 header.

i think parts sharing/giving is a great way to keep these parts from building up and to share our unused extras....so far the best way is when someone lives close by and has extras....or it is smaller than a bread basket and does not set the donner back a great deal.......
that said some stuff does'nt make the cut as far as whether it is useable enough to ship...and it is still good enough for a guy to not just throw away.......
i tried making a parts exchange barter thread and it seemed to get little response....maybe cuase it ends up being more complicated in act than in thought......


for instance.......the guy who owned my bike painted the stock head pipes flat black and sawed them off where they joined past a tie in pipe by the centerstand ...then he clamped some ducati 900ss cans on the ends...upswept...and flat blacked them too......it sounded cool and made good power....and was one of a kind....when i got my supertrapp the whole thing wewnt under a tarp out back.....now i gotta wait for some one close to have a project ...like yours.....becuase shipping them just does'nt make sense...

My hope for you is that some one near has an extra they can part with.....did you put your general location in your post?????

I live close to only one member that I know of. I'm waaaay east in Canada, Newfoundland to be exact. But if anyone has something I can use I'll gladly pay shipping.

A barter thread sounds like a great idea, I don't know why it wouldn't take off.

YES A BARTER CATEGORY would be a welcomed addition. but must figure out way of shipping?

I guess whoever's item costs more to ship, they pay the diff. As long as you agree the two items are of equal value.

PS - I think I found an exhaust.
