First time removing pistons - I heated up the cylinder with the small butane torch (per the Clymer) but the pins don't seem to want to budge. I definitely do not want to do this wrong. Just wanted to verify the correct/best way to remove the piston pin. Appreciate all the help!

take em out and take a socket the size of the pin and gently tap it out. ymmv

Thanks again - I remember seeing them. I was pretty hesitant not wanting to destroy anything, but I didn't see them mentioned in the Clymer and haven't ever gotten this deep in an engine before. I'll give it a try!
