sure it will probably break the rings loose from the cylinders but you still will have a groove cut in to the cylinders from the rings rusting in place so you will need a bore job anyway.

For 20 bucks where is the risk? Alot easier to break an engine down if it moves. I would try it. The ad says it works 80% of the time. I bet PB Blaster and Mystery Oil work about the same...Russ

The ad states: "Has your engine seized up?
Seized Engine.com has the solution!" Further down, however, it states: "Engine Release is the liquid solution for all types of engines that have seized up during storage."

I would think any lubricant (Blaster, Kroil, tranny fluid, etc.) would free up pistons/rings if that was the only problem. I suspect folks buy this miracle oil to try to free up engines that have seized when they ran low on oil at 80mph. I'm sure they're thrilled with the results. :laugh:
