Hello everyone,
Been riding my bike around for a bit and realized that it is burning a lot of oil. Check the compression and its 145 on one side and 90 on the other. Plug is also oily on the low side. So I am thinking that I at least need new rings.
A real shame as the season is just starting and the bike is starting right up and running fairly well. Probably lacking in some power, but that is about it.
I adjusted the valves so I do not think that is the issue.
Anyways I was wondering if anyone knows of a good machine shop in Austin, TX that does motorcycle work. I plan on putting the rings in myself, but I may need some machine work (bore or hone).
