I'm having trouble finding a muffler to fit my 4-1 exhaust on my 78 KZ1000. It's a 2" OD pipe. Anybody have any good references?

whats a muffler???:) Finding a baffle to fit a certain header does seem like it would be hard to do. Does it have to be removable? If not, you could slide in a cone for backpressure and sound reduction. If it does the job and you are satisfied with it just tack it in.

what make off header is it, maybe put a picture of it on here so we might be able to help you better.

Check out Kerker K -canister. I have one and I remember it to be very close to 50mm / 2".
